In 1999, the company renamed LaserShip, decided to focus on the development of electronic commerce. Speed and unprecedented service have contributed to its success for many years. The history of its formation begins in 1986 when several friends organized business for the rapid delivery of documents (15 minutes after the call!) In the Washington area. TO ALL CORPORATIONS: STOP USING LASERSHIP! Spend the extra $$ and ship with a reliable service like UPS, USPS, FEDEX etc.LaserShip is the largest US regional provider of e-commerce and shipping. I believe most consumers would be happy to pay to get their packages to them safeluy and in a timely fashion- I will never shop on again because of this reason, and will be cancelling my walmart + membership as well. I understand that these multi-billion dollar corporations do whatever and cut whatever corners they can to save a dollar, but continuing to use such an incompetant and unprofessional shipping company is beyond comprehension. I called the local Lasership facility in Rochester, NY, sat on hold for exactly 83 minutes, and then tried to make arrangements to pick up my item, as it's been sitting in their warehouse for 10 days, to which I was told that during the holidays they don't allow people to come pick up their packages due to volume( I live 10 minutes away) but that I can pick it up on January 2nd? What sense does this make? Contacting Walmart has yielded no results, other than they just continue to send me the same link to Lasership packing. I purchased from ( signed up to be a Walmart + member specifically to purchase this itam as an early release, Lasership has delayed my delivery by 6 days, now it says "Delivery Exception" no attempt has been made to deliver, I've called, written emails- no response. A lot of neighbors are extremely angry about this delivery person incompetence. Lasership tracking drivers#Your drivers are not doing what they are being paid to do: DELIVERING PACKAGES TO THE PROPER LOCATIONS. This situation needs to be rectified immediately. This has been ongoing for some time despite the fact that the guards ask the drivers to bring the packages to the recipient's apartment, but the Lasership drivers ignore them. Instead the Lasership drivers come into the lobby of each building and leave the packages there on the floor in front of the mailboxes where they are regularly stolen. Each door in the complex is color coded and has a huge emblazoned number of the apartment at the bottom of each door. ![]() The Lasership drivers are supposed to bring packages to the customer's door and take a cell phone photo of the package in front of the customer's door to show proof of delivery. This complaint has to do with deliveries which take place in a complex in New York City where I live which is composed of 4 buildings that are 31 stories high and have three working elevators with 24/7 guard service. ![]()
